Born in Sacramento, California, Whitney grew up in a Real Estate family with both mother and father involved in different specialties of the business.  She was naturally drawn to the excitement of the business.  Whitney developed a passion for homes and design, and the excitement of the ever changing Real Estate Industry. At age 18, she earned her North Carolina real estate license and subsequently completed her Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).

Whitney continually strives to learn and stay up to date on all the latest information and technology through her educational pursuits.  She has earned the prestigious Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Designation (LHMS), Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist Designation (CRS), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). She also holds the REALTOR designation.

Whitney worked in the Vacation Rental Business for several well know companies upon arriving on the Outer Banks for the first 6 years after relocating to the Outer Banks. Her experience provides a wealth of knowledge, support and guidance for her clients.  She has extensive knowledge of property management, home design and new construction having worked on many projects for clients and personal investments. Having invested in various projects and she has owned homes in numerous Outer Banks communities, Whitney is uniquely qualified to offer a perspective that many competitors are unable to offer.

It is her mission to assist her clients in realizing their dream of owning a home on the Outer Banks. Whether looking for a primary home, second home or simply a great place to invest, she is there to help.   In her free time, Whitney enjoys time with family, gardening, running, reading, snorkeling, scuba diving and boating.  She is also an avid volunteer in the community and has served as a member of the Babe Ruth Board of Directors, Boy Scout Troop 117 Committee member and PTA volunteer at First Flight Middle School.
