FALL REAL ESTATE ON THE OUTER BANKS 8/27/13
The Fall Market is traditionally bustling with buyers. It is easier for visitors to view homes and many guests have returned home to busy schedules. In general, homes are easier to see. During the summer months, showings for rented homes must be viewed on turn over days which are usually Saturday and Sunday only. Primary residences can be viewed more readily throughout the year and don't present the same challenges.
Fall on the Outer Banks is also a beautiful time of year to enjoy our beaches. Temperatures are cooler but the water is still warm enought to enjoy. Activities and Restaurants are still in full swing and some wonderful events can being enjoyed from Corolla to Hatteras. Some events include the Outer Banks Marathon and Half Marathon, Music and Food Festivals. Visit www.outerbanks.org for a complete listing of events and activities in all towns.
Take time while you are here to explore Nags Head Woods Maritime Forest, Lighhouses, Jockeys Ridge and the Wright Monument. As year round residents we make it a priority to never forget what a magical palce we call home. This photo is our oldest son doing one of his favorite fall activities. FISHING....wade out into the Kitty Hawk after school and see what is waiting for you.
